Hugh Simpson aka The Dome Dude has been a long time evangelist of the DOME beginning over 25 years ago when he learned of the geodesic dome from the right hand assistant to the legendary Buckminster “Bucky” Fuller, who was the evangelist behind the geodesic dome even though he did not invent it.

Hugh learned of the dodecahedron dome and went to North Carolina to learn to build it in 2010. His mentor Rob was manufacturing them in his garage.

Hugh knew that would not work for his dream of mass manufacturing but found that a company had a CNC router that could easily and precisely manufacture the struts and hubs.

He has been evangelizing their benefits of withstanding Category 5 hurricanes, tornadoes and even mid-level Richter scale earthquakes.

He thought that a group of retired US military veterans were going to take over the manufacturing; however they have decided not to pursue this project.

Hugh is still open to his agreement he would have had with them asking for NO upfront investment and agreeing to stay on as a ONE DOLLAR A YEAR marketing consultant receiving royalties for every kit sold for the three sizes – 18, 27, and 36 feet in diameter.

He will set up a LEGAL BINDING agreement where you/group will pay Valentine International LLC royalties on all Raptor Domes ™ Kits sold for a period of 10 years:

18′ Diameter – $250

27′ Diameter – $500

32′ Diameter – $750

36′ Diameter – $1000

I will supply all the information that will be needed for 18, 27, 32 and 36 models struts and hubs.
